First through Sixth Grade Students
Westminster Christian Academy offers an irreplaceable student experience. Beginning with our curriculum, we offer a premier choice in grades K3-6th grade through Bob Jones University Press who are leaders in the field of Christian Education. Their subject offerings are researched-based and give our students the solid foundation they need to be the problem solvers of tomorrow. Wrapped in a biblical worldview, our students learn to discern the world through God’s lens of integrity, character, truth, and love in every subject area.
We aim to equip our students with the tools they need to thrive, ensuring their holistic development as they grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The Bob Jones University (BJU) curriculum helps us in this effort. The BJU Press curriculum focuses on four core values: Biblical Worldview Shaping, Academic Rigor, Critical Thinking, and Technology Solutions. Students’ progress is measured three times a year. This data is used to tailor a support program using IXL, a computer-based system, to help those who need to get on task and those who are advanced to go further through our student Chromebooks. All three components, the curriculum, IXL and MAP testing, work together to provide academic excellence and a Kingdom-focused education for our students.
